Samsung Group's 18 subsidiaries to accept applications for 2026 mid-year recruitment from 10th to 17th
Samsung Group will conduct public recruitment for 18 subsidiaries from October 10 to 17, aiming to hire 60,000 employees over the next five years.
Samsung Electronics and 17 other companies within the Samsung Group are set to begin public recruitment for positions starting October 10, 2026. The recruiting process will accept applications via the Samsung Careers website from October 10 to 17. Following the document review, applicants will undergo a job suitability assessment this month, the Samsung Job Aptitude Test (GSAT) in April, and final interviews and health checks in May before receiving acceptance notifications.
The recruitment initiative is part of Samsung's broader plan to hire 60,000 individuals over the next five years, focusing on advancing sectors such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence (AI), biotechnology, and battery technology. This hiring push reflects Samsung's commitment to creating quality jobs in South Korea, as elaborated by Vice Chairman Lee Jae-Yong during discussions with the presidential office and business leaders in August last year.
Samsung first introduced the public recruitment system for new employees in South Korea in 1957, marking 2026 as the 70th year of this tradition. The public recruitment occurs biannually, in both the first and second halves of the year, continuing to attract a diverse range of candidates to foster innovation and growth within the company and beyond.
