Already 300 high school students in the school-work project by Allianz

Allianz Italy celebrates the tenth anniversary of its 'Dual School-Work' project, involving 300 students in a work-study integration model inspired by the German dual system.

Allianz Italy has marked the tenth anniversary of its 'Dualitร  scuola-lavoro' project during an event in the auditorium of its Tower at CityLife. This initiative aims to highlight the effectiveness of an innovative model that integrates education and youth employment based on the successful German dual system. Over the past decade, the project has engaged 300 high school and technical institute students from Milan, its suburbs, and Saronno, providing them with part-time apprenticeship contracts featuring substantial benefits.

The project offers participating students contracts with a gross annual salary of 8,000 euros and benefits including meal vouchers, medical expense reimbursements, and insurance policies. The students also receive the DUAL.Project certification, recognized throughout Europe for dual education training. The program spans 24 months, where students spend three days per month in companies during the academic year while participating in company-related activities over the summer months.

Through its connection to corporate social responsibility, Allianz's project not only facilitates practical learning experiences but also contributes to the preparation of young individuals for the job market. This initiative represents a significant step in addressing the gap between education and employment for youth, setting a precedent for similar programs in Italy and potentially influencing future educational policies regarding work-based learning.
