The Norwegian Tax Administration has begun sending out tax returns, with 2.7 million citizens anticipated to receive refunds this year, averaging 15,200 kroner per person. Tax director Nina Schanke Funnemark emphasizes the importance of individuals thoroughly checking their tax returns for accuracy and completeness to avoid potential errors or omissions, which could lead to incorrect tax payments. Additionally, around 1.2 million Norwegians are projected to owe outstanding tax, with an average amount of 43,200 kroner per person, making it crucial for all taxpayers to verify and adjust their reported information before the submission deadline of April 30.
