The former Unification Church, officially known as the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, has expressed dissatisfaction with the Tokyo High Court's dissolution order issued on the 4th of this month, leading them to file a special appeal with the Supreme Court on the 9th. The Supreme Court is expected to further examine the validity of the dissolution order, which has already initiated the process of liquidating the church's assets as per the Religious Corporations Act, starting now.
