A truck fire occurred at around 11:49 PM on Saturday on the Fernão Dias Highway, near Itapeva, South Minas, destroying a cargo valued at about R$ 850,000. The trailer, loaded with about 7 tons of various goods intended for e-commerce deliveries, was engulfed in flames after the fire started in one of its tires and rapidly spread to the structure and cargo. Firefighters from the 3rd Pelotão de Bombeiros (Fire Brigade) based in Extrema responded promptly and used approximately 20,000 liters of water to bring the fire under control.
