Spring weather will continue from Monday

Latvia is expecting sunny and dry weather for Monday and Tuesday, with mild temperatures during the day and colder nights.

Starting Monday, Latvia will experience pleasant spring weather characterized by sunny skies and dry conditions. A light to moderate south to southwest wind is expected, with nighttime temperatures dropping to between 0 and -5 degrees Celsius, while coastal areas will remain slightly warmer at 0 to 2 degrees. During the daytime, temperatures are forecasted to rise to between 8 and 13 degrees, potentially reaching 6 to 9 degrees in some areas of Latgale and along the coast.

On Wednesday night, clear skies will prevail, but clouds will gradually increase from the west in the morning, although the weather will remain dry. The wind will continue to blow lightly from the south, with nighttime temperatures anticipated to range from -1 to 2 degrees and daytime highs not exceeding 6 to 11 degrees, with coastal regions experiencing slightly cooler temperatures. The latter half of the week is not expected to show significant changes, as sunshine will alternate with clouds, and no substantial precipitation is forecasted.

Weekend temperatures are projected to remain positive, with a warm influx of air expected to influence Latvia's territory. This relatively mild weather suggests a pleasant transition into spring, positively affecting outdoor activities and agricultural preparations in the region. The forecasts highlight a stable pattern devoid of severe weather, allowing residents to enjoy the gradual warming trend that follows the cold winter months.
