Meanwhile, Nõmme Kalju FC, playing away at Tartu Coop Stadium, claimed a narrow victory, also by a score of 1-0, thanks to Nikita Ivanov’s penalty in the 17th minute. The matchday saw no draws; all five matches concluded with a decisive winner, including a strong performance from last season's champion, Tallinna FC Flora, who won 3-0 against FC Nõmme United, taking an early lead in the standings.

The Premium League season kicked off without any drawn matches, reflecting a competitive start for the teams involved.
