Venus and Saturn conjunction in the last appearance of the ringed master before moving to the dawn journey
Venus and Saturn will appear close together in the evening sky, creating a stunning astronomical event visible after sunset.
As evening descends, the sky opens a new chapter of its tranquil tales. Amid the fading hues of sunset and the first points of light beginning to appear, observers prepare for an astronomical spectacle that carries both beauty and a sense of farewell. Today and tomorrow, Venus and Saturn will meet in the western horizon in a striking conjunction easily visible after sunset, appearing adjacent in the serene celestial painting of the sky.
According to Omani astronomer Awad Al-Saadouni, a member of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences, this conjunction is one of the most beautiful celestial displays during this month of Ramadan, with the two planets appearing very close to each other, separated by an angle of about one degree, which is roughly the width of a finger when extending one's arm towards the sky. Despite this apparent proximity, the actual distance between the two planets is immense, estimated at about 1.5 billion kilometers.
In this celestial view, Venus shines brightly, making it the brightest star in the evening sky, while Saturn appears beside it with slightly dimmer light. This encounter occurs at a time when the stars and planets create a narrative of wonder and enchantment, inviting both astronomers and casual viewers alike to engage with the beauty of the universe in fleeting moments of connection.
