In the early hours, a battery fire erupted in the garage of a private house in Jupperi, Espoo, triggering a large-scale rescue effort. The West Uusimaa Rescue Department reported that the fire generated dense smoke, causing residents to flee to the roof for safety. Emergency services responded promptly, assisting two individuals off the roof and ensuring their well-being through medical checks after the incident.

In total, 11 units from various rescue departments, including West Uusimaa, Central Uusimaa, and Helsinki, along with emergency medical services and police units, were deployed to manage the situation effectively.
