Russian attacks kill 3 civilians and injure over 20 in 3 Ukrainian oblasts
Russian attacks across Ukrainian oblasts resulted in three civilian deaths and over 20 injuries.
On March 7, 2023, Russian attacks in Ukraine resulted in the tragic deaths of three civilians and left more than 20 others injured. The attacks affected multiple regions, specifically Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Kherson oblasts. In Donetsk, one civilian from the village of Nykanorivka was killed, while numerous others faced injuries from the onslaught. This reflects an ongoing pattern of violence as tensions remain high in the region.
The situation in Kherson Oblast was similarly grim, with five individuals reported injured due to Russian shelling that targeted vital infrastructure, including residential buildings. The strikes on March 7 caused significant damage, affecting seven apartment buildings and 18 houses, highlighting the indiscriminate nature of the attacks that continue to put civilian lives at risk.
In Kharkiv, additional casualties were reported, including the deaths of two older men and injuries to an elderly woman and her granddaughter in separate incidents. The persistently high numbers of casualties and damage to civilian homes indicate a catastrophic human cost, raising concerns about the safety and security of the local populations in these conflict zones as hostilities persist without a clear resolution in sight.
