Swiss ski jumper Killian Peier, 30, fell in love with Espoo native Veronika over a decade ago during his visits to Finland. In an interview, he expressed his deep affection for Veronika, mentioning that she is the best possible supporter for him.

The couple married three years ago and live in Einsiedeln, about a 45-minute drive from Zurich. Veronika works as a special education teacher in Zug, and the household communicates mainly in English, while Killian's first language is French. He revealed that he visits Finland roughly twice a year outside of competition, showcasing his commitment to maintaining a connection with Veronika’s roots.
