Nepal has witnessed a monumental political upheaval with the victory of Balen Shah, a rapper who transitioned into politics and led the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) to a significant win in the general elections. Shah defeated KP Oli, the leader of the Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist-Leninist (CPN-UML) and a four-time former Prime Minister, by nearly 50,000 votes in the Jhapa-5 constituency.
