Woman walking a dog is punched in South Zone of SP
A woman was assaulted while walking her dog in Brooklin, São Paulo, where she was punched in the face by a man.
On Thursday evening, a woman was attacked while walking her dog on Avenida Padre Antônio José dos Santos in the Brooklin neighborhood of São Paulo's South Zone. The incident occurred around 6:30 PM when the woman was approached by her assailant after a brief conversation, during which he struck her in the face with at least two punches. Following the initial assault, she attempted to approach him once again but was met with further violence, resulting in her being knocked to the ground.
The São Paulo Military Police responded to the scene and attended to the victim, who declined medical assistance at that time. Law enforcement began a search for the suspect in the surrounding area; however, he was not located. Meanwhile, the São Paulo Civil Police announced that they are reviewing video footage of the incident to identify the assailant and remain in contact with the victim to facilitate the filing of a police report necessary for further legal action.
