Railway Museum Invites Students for Visit

The Latvian Railway History Museum is hosting educational and creative activities for children and young people during the school break from March 10 to March 14.

The Latvian Railway History Museum, in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, is inviting children and young people to participate in a week-long series of educational and creative activities during their school break from March 10 to March 14. Activities include exploring the museum's permanent exhibition, making applications based on paper locomotives, playing games, and a guided tour titled 'Journey into the Past'.

Each day, attendees will have the opportunity to watch episodes of the animated series 'Emergency Brigade', which focuses on railway themes, and test their attention in a photo orientation challenge. This initiative aims to provide a fun and interactive way for students to learn about the history and importance of the railway in Latvia.

The Latvian Railway History Museum, established in 1994 and located on Uzvaras Boulevard in Riga, serves as a significant cultural institution highlighting Latvia's railway heritage. The activities are designed not only to educate but also to foster creativity among young visitors, promoting interest in history and engineering.
