On Thursday, August 5, Anderson Renan Magalhães Freitas, aged 35, was arrested in the Ancuri neighborhood of Fortaleza, Brazil, after being on the run for 19 days following the murder of his ex-partner, Ana Karolina Sousa. Residents recognized him at a local bar, immobilized him, and tied him to a pole until the police arrived. He was subsequently taken into custody under a warrant for the murder of the 31-year-old influencer and entrepreneur, who was stabbed to death at her home in Itapipoca, Cear.
