Jarosław Kaczyński has named Przemysław Czarnek as the candidate for Prime Minister should the ruling Law and Justice party (PiS) win the upcoming parliamentary elections in 2027. Kaczyński highlighted the necessity of forming a new government in the current challenging circumstances in Poland, expressing strong confidence in Czarnek as a suitable leader at this pivotal moment. In an investigation into Czarnek's financial declarations, it was revealed that he possesses very limited personal assets. His latest financial disclosure lists only 15,000 PLN in savings and a 5% share in an inheritance that includes parts of a house, land, and an apartment valued collectively at around 60,000 PLN. Notably, the declaration shows a significant lack of substantial real estate or vehicles, as he does not own any property outright and only has a car valued at less than 10,000 PLN.

Furthermore, Czarnek is noted to have a Swiss franc mortgage, which adds to the complexity of his financial standing. This information contrasts sharply with the expectations of a political leader, particularly one poised for a Prime Ministerial role.
