WATCH LIVE | How are Kaljuvere and Goidina doing in the free skating?

A live broadcast of the junior world championship women's figure skating free program featuring Estonian skaters Maria Eliise Kaljuvere and Elina Goidina is set to start today, with both athletes sharing their pre-performance feelings.

Today at 15:30, ETV+ and the ERR sports portal will begin a live broadcast of the junior world championship women's figure skating free program. The competition features two representatives from Estonia: Maria Eliise Kaljuvere, who scored 54.45 points and is currently in 19th place, and Elina Goidina, who is in 20th place with 54.44 points. Both skaters are scheduled to compete at the end of the first warm-up group.

Goidina expressed her emotional state before the performance as she discussed her recent competition preparations, saying, "I don't know, everything was fine before the program, and I wasn't nervous. I was very prepared; I executed the cascade cleanly for three days. I don't know what happened." Her pre-competition worries included the Rittberger jump, noting that she has faced numerous mistakes with that jump this year but felt confident about the cascade.

Kaljuvere shared that she felt more nervous than usual for this competition. She mentioned waking up in anticipation of the event and feeling the tension during warm-up. Describing her performance, she acknowledged stumbling and falling during the sequence of steps but reassured herself that such incidents can happen during competitions.
