The opening ceremony of the Winter Paralympic Games for Milan-Cortina 2026 took place at the historic Verona Arena, renowned for being one of the most famous Roman amphitheaters worldwide. The event, themed 'Life in Motion', featured an array of performances and was attended by athletes and guests from numerous countries. Taking place from March 6 to March 15, 2026, the games will host over 600 athletes competing in 79 disciplines across six sports.
