Moraes says messages from Vorcaro on the day of the banker’s arrest were not for him

Alexandre de Moraes denies having received messages from banker Daniel Vorcaro on the day of his arrest, following a report showcasing alleged communications between them.

Alexandre de Moraes, a minister of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) in Brazil, has publicly denied any communication with banker Daniel Vorcaro on the day Vorcaro was arrested. This declaration came after a technical analysis of telematics data showed that the one-time view messages purportedly sent by Vorcaro did not match Moraes’s contacts in the seized files. The situation has been further fueled by claims made in a report by journalist Malu Gaspar of the newspaper "O Globo," which suggested that Vorcaro sent messages to Moraes just hours before his initial arrest.
