Gian Mastrocola, just a year and three months old, was killed during a dispute at a barber shop in the southern neighborhood of Rosario. On Thursday evening, he was fatally shot after an argument broke out between patrons. Despite efforts from residents who restrained one suspect, Gian's grandfather rushed him to a hospital where he ultimately died due to his injuries.

In the aftermath of the shooting, police detained three additional suspects and confiscated weapons and cocaine near the crime scene at Melincué al 6100 in the Roque Sáenz Peña neighborhood. The incident reportedly escalated from a verbal conflict instigated when a customer shouted at a motorcyclist and his girlfriend, resulting in a return confrontation that turned violent with gunfire.
