A man who is believed to have kidnapped a deacon during a robbery at a religious site in Campina Grande, Paraíba, died during a police confrontation on Friday morning. This incident occurred in a context where the suspect had been planning the crime for approximately ten days before executing it, indicating a premeditated action targeting worshippers at the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy while they were engaged in prayer.
