LOT Polish Airlines has launched an initiative to provide internet access on its long-haul flight fleet, responding to increasing passenger demands for connectivity while flying. The service is currently operational on one Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with plans to extend it to two additional aircraft by the end of April. This move is part of the airline’s broader strategy to enhance onboard offerings and customer experience.

According to the airline's statement, the implementation of internet access enables passengers to stay connected with loved ones, continue remote work, and enjoy online entertainment during their flights. As travelers increasingly view internet access as an essential feature during long-haul flights, LOT sees this initiative as a logical progression in product development.

In 2022, LOT carried 11.7 million passengers and launched nine new routes, indicating strong growth. This year, the airline plans to introduce 15 new destinations and expand its fleet further. The ongoing enhancement of onboard services, including internet access, reflects LOT's commitment to meeting evolving passenger expectations and staying competitive in a challenging aviation market.
