In addition to the embassy in the Iranian capital, Azerbaijan has also cleared its consulate in Tabriz and begun deploying self-propelled artillery systems along the border with Iran. According to reports, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stated that President Ilham Aliyev's recent statements following the drone attacks convey a clear message regarding Azerbaijan's security and diplomatic actions being taken at the highest levels. During a press briefing in Baku alongside Moldova's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mihai Popsoi, Bayramov emphasized the complete withdrawal of diplomatic staff from Iran, reflecting the escalating tensions between the two nations.
