On Thursday afternoon, an alarming situation unfolded at Kallio elementary school in Helsinki during a physical education class at Brahen field when a man exhibiting threatening behavior disrupted the students. According to the Helsinki police, they were summoned to the scene at 2:35 PM after reports of a disturbance, where the individual was found misbehaving among the students participating in skating activities.

The school principal, Juha Saaresaho, communicated with parents via a Wilma message describing the chaotic situation, which included the individual throwing items and stealing a student’s backpack while damaging school supplies. Although the principal assured parents that the children were not in danger, they were safely escorted to the changing rooms away from the incident. Teachers acted quickly by contacting the police to ensure the safety of the students.

The police successfully apprehended the erratic individual, ensuring the situation was contained.
