The operation involves a total of 46 targets in various municipalities within Maranhão, and extends to cities in other states such as Pará, Paraíba, and Santa Catarina. The warrants encompass different types of arrests, including temporary, preventive, and those resulting from prior convictions, highlighting the severity and urgency of the situation regarding violence against women in these areas.
The initiative originally commenced on February 19, focusing on expediting investigations and judicial processes against individuals accused of violence toward women.
