Son of BJP leader secures third rank in UPSC, CM congratulates him over the phone
A young man from Panchkula, Haryana named Akansh Dhull secured the third rank in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025, following previous attempts and notable academic achievements.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the final results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 on Friday. Among the notable achievers is Akansh Dhull, who has made headlines for securing the All India Third Rank (AIR 3). This accomplishment is remarkable, especially considering his previous attempts at the UPSC where he secured ranks 342 and 295 in 2024 and 2025 respectively. Akansh's perseverance has paid off, highlighting the dedication required to succeed in such a rigorous examination.
Akansh comes from a distinguished family, with his father, Krishna Dhull, being a senior BJP leader and spokesperson in Haryana, and his mother, Nirmal Dhull, serving as a principal in a government school in Panchkula. This background may have provided him with a supportive environment conducive to his educational pursuits. He completed his schooling at Bhavan Vidyalaya in Chandigarh and St. Kabir Public School, before moving to Delhi to further his studies. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), where he earned a BA (Honors).
