The Korean Social Welfare Council will hold a vision declaration ceremony and concert on March 10th at the Grand Ballroom of the Seoul Garden Hotel in the Mapo District of Seoul. This event will coincide with the resignation ceremony of Chairman Kim Seong-hee and the inauguration ceremony of new Chairman Kim Hyun-hoon, aiming to promote collaboration and solidarity through social welfare integration. The gathering will serve to spread values related to unity within the social welfare community.

Additionally, on March 5th, the Seoul Women’s Foundation recognized leaders in women's contributions during the International Women's Day event held at the Seoul Women's Plaza. Awards were presented to individuals such as Kim Young-jin, the chairperson of the Seoul Pharmaceutical Association’s Women Pharmacists Committee, and Park So-yeon, president of the Korean Association of Oriental Medicine. The awards celebrate significant social contributions and advocate for increased leadership among women.

Moreover, the Hoban Group is conducting the '2026 Hoban Next Startup Contest,' focusing on areas like construction automation and digital infrastructure related to the smart city industry, open until March 22. The Broadcasting, Media, and Communications Commission also announced a character contest for social media and promotional content, welcoming public participation until April 3. Lastly, the Korea Press Foundation has announced competitions aimed at enhancing public media literacy, with application deadlines between mid-March and late July, culminating in a joint awards ceremony in November.
