Kryvyi Rih experienced a large-scale drone attack by Russian forces, resulting in significant damage including to a nine-storey residential building and an infrastructure facility. The attack was confirmed by Oleksandr Vilkul, the Head of the Kryvyi Rih Defence Council, following reports of explosions in the city around 02:00. Local authorities have been engaged in firefighting and rescue efforts in response to the incidents.

Despite the severity of the attack, local officials reported that no injuries occurred as a result of the drone strikes. Approximately 30 buildings suffered damage, prompting the establishment of two assistance centers for affected residents. Vilkul updated the public after 04:30, noting the progress in extinguishing several fires that had erupted due to the attacks, highlighting ongoing efforts to control a remaining fire.
