Director Lee Ju-young from Sangji University’s Department of Oriental Medicine Donates for Development of Oriental Medicine Research Institute
Director Lee Ju-young donated 4 million won to the Oriental Medicine Research Institute at Sangji University to promote its development.
On the 5th of the month, Sangji University received a donation of 4 million won from Dr. Lee Ju-young, a graduate from its Department of Oriental Medicine. The donation, made during a ceremony held in the president's office, aims to support the research activities and academic development of the Oriental Medicine Research Institute at Sangji University. Attending the event were university officials including President Seong Kyung-ryung and key faculty members, all discussing the importance of contributions towards the growth of the institution.
Dr. Lee, an alumnus of the class of 2001, has been committed to supporting his alma mater since 2021, contributing a total of 20 million won, aggregated from various funds including the Oriental Medicine College and university development funds. His ongoing donations signify a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of education and research in the field of Oriental medicine, demonstrating how individual alumni can make significant impacts on their institutions.
