Family agriculture reinforces protagonism at Show Rural Coopavel
The new Pavilion of Family Agroindustry was inaugurated at the Show Rural Coopavel, expanding the presence of family agroindustries at one of Brazil's largest agribusiness events.
On February 9, the new Pavilion of Family Agroindustry was inaugurated during the first day of the Show Rural Coopavel, significantly increasing the representation of family agroindustries in this major agribusiness event in Brazil. Covering a total area of 1,050 square meters, double the previous space, the pavilion now hosts more producers and enhances the showcase of both artisanal and industrial products from the countryside. The inauguration ceremony included representatives from the Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply of Paraná, the Institute for Rural Development of Paraná (IDR-PR), and other state authorities and sector spokespeople. This expansion, made possible through a partnership with Itaipu Binacional, marks a notable advancement in the recognition and promotion of small producers at the fair. With the new infrastructure, the pavilion's capacity increased from 45 to 87 exhibitors, thereby providing new marketing opportunities. First-time participant and cheese producer Elis Gomes, from Diamante D’Oeste, expressed her excitement about the new opportunities generated by the event, highlighting the importance of such platforms for family agriculture in gaining visibility and business prospects.
