Orai.lt: sun and rising temperatures will increasingly please

Lithuania is expected to experience pleasant weather with rising temperatures and sunny days over the weekend, with caution advised for fog and icy conditions at night.

On Saturday, Lithuania will remain under the influence of an anticyclone, resulting in plenty of sunshine and no precipitation. Drivers are advised to be cautious due to the potential for fog and black ice forming in some areas during the night and morning. Nighttime temperatures will drop to between -1 and -6 degrees Celsius, while the daytime will see slightly warmer conditions ranging from 4 to 12 degrees Celsius in some regions.

Sunday is expected to bring similar weather patterns, with mostly clear skies and no forecasted rain. As has been the trend in recent days, there may be localized black ice and fog at night, which will begin to dissipate in the morning. Winds will remain light, and nighttime temperatures will continue to hover between -1 and -6 degrees Celsius, but daytime highs are projected to rise further, reaching between 5 and 13 degrees Celsius in certain areas.

By the beginning of next week, the anticyclone will gradually move eastward while still allowing for reasonably dry conditions. Although nighttime temperatures may still slightly dip below zero, daytime temperatures could range between 7 and 14 degrees Celsius, representing a notable warming trend for the region.
