Viljandi Metall began the quarterfinal series of the Estonian women's volleyball championships successfully, winning the first game against Viimsi/Tallinna Ülikool with a 3-0 score. The match, held at Viimsi School, saw the home team unable to secure a single game, losing with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, and 25-12. This win not only propels Viljandi toward the semifinals but also serves as sweet revenge after having lost a previous league match against the same team, which ended in a close 3-2 defeat.
