Kasha Sanderson was sentenced to nine years in prison after being caught smuggling 5kg of heroin and an arsenal of 'terrifying' firearms into the UK. The 40-year-old was apprehended after arriving in Dover from Calais in an Irish-registered Peugeot, where authorities discovered hidden compartments in her vehicle containing 13 guns, as well as hundreds of rounds of ammunition. Upon her arrest, she falsely claimed to have been in France to scatter ashes, indicating a potential lack of awareness or an attempt to mislead law enforcement further.

During the investigation, Border Force officers found that Sanderson was carrying military-grade weapons, including two Skorpion sub-machine guns and an Uzi, along with a Glock handgun.
