Police in Paraíba held a protest demanding improved salaries and career recognition.
On the afternoon of Thursday, February 5, civil, military, and penal police officers in Paraíba conducted another protest in front of Granja Santana, the official residence of the governor in João Pessoa. This demonstration follows a previous rally held on February 21, where these police categories united to advocate for better working conditions. According to Suana Melo, a representative of the Association of Civil Police Officers of Paraíba (Aspol-PB), the protest aims to push for salary increases and career recognition for all police roles in the state.
