The IAF shared an update on social media, indicating that the last contact with the aircraft occurred at 7:42 PM. In response, a rescue operation has already commenced, focusing on locating the missing Sukhoi-30 MKI. This aircraft is considered one of the most powerful and reliable multi-role fighter jets in the IAF's fleet, specially customized for the Indian forces and capable of engaging air-to-air, air-to-ground, and maritime targets.
