BMW driver sentenced to 43 years in prison for accident that killed 4-year-old girl in SP interior

Luiz Paulo Franco Del Corso, the driver found to be under the influence of alcohol, was sentenced to 43 years and 9 months in prison by the Jury Court in Bragança Paulista, São Paulo. He faced charges for the tragic accident that led to the death of young Valentina Oliveira da Veiga and seriously endangered other passengers in the affected vehicle. In addition to homicide charges for Valentina's death, Del Corso was also convicted of four counts of attempted homicide against other individuals in the car he collided with. As part of the ruling, the judge imposed a fine and suspended Del Corso's driving privileges for 18 months.
