Gustavo Soares Guedes, a 16-year-old adolescent from Alvorada in Tocantins, suffered severe injuries including two fractured legs and a crushed arm after being struck by a police patrol car. The incident occurred on the night of March 4 when Gustavo was riding a motorcycle with a friend. Witnesses reported that after being followed by the police vehicle, the friend exited the motorcycle, prompting Gustavo to accelerate. Unfortunately, he was then struck by the police vehicle, leading to catastrophic injuries.
Following the accident, Gustavo became pinned between the police car and an electricity pole that was damaged in the incident, which also fell on him. This caused a serious impact on his legs and right arm, resulting in complicated injuries that required immediate surgical intervention. As of the latest report, he remains hospitalized in critical condition.
