In a disturbing incident in São Cristóvão, Rio de Janeiro, a 21-year-old pregnant woman, five months along, was shot multiple times during a police operation in the Barreira do Vasco area. Her family reported that the young woman was in her bedroom with her two sisters when a shootout erupted between police and criminals nearby, leading to her being struck by two bullets.
