A teacher discovered the injured student shortly after 2 PM and immediately alerted emergency services.
The 17-year-old received first aid from an ambulance crew that arrived at the scene and was subsequently transported to the "Evangelismos" hospital for further treatment. Fortunately, recent updates from the Hellenic Police (ELAS) indicate that the victim has since been discharged from the hospital, suggesting that his injuries, while serious, were not life-threatening.
