Hadeed 110: The Iranian Suicide Drone
The Hadeed 110 is Iran's first suicide drone equipped with a jet engine, capable of reaching speeds of up to 517 km/h, making it the fastest in its category with advanced stealth technology.
The Hadeed 110, also known as "Dalahu," represents a significant advancement in Iran's military capabilities, being the first Iranian suicide drone powered by a jet engine. Capable of reaching speeds up to 517 km/h, it can approach targets undetected by early warning systems, thereby enhancing its operational effectiveness. The drone is equipped with a warhead weighing approximately 30 kilograms and advanced stealth features that contribute to its concealment during missions.
The drone was publicly unveiled by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard on February 12, 2025, during the "Iqtidar 1403" defense industries exhibition. This unveiling coincided with an inspection visit from Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who engaged with military leaders and specialists in Iran's defense sector. However, initial technical specifications and operational capabilities of the drone were withheld at that time, indicating a strategic intent to keep adversaries uncertain about its full potential.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard utilized the Hadeed 110 for the first time on March 4, 2026, amidst the escalating conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran. This deployment signifies Iran's commitment to showcasing and enhancing its military technologies in response to regional threats. The representation of the drone being launched from a submarine, as broadcasted in Iranian media, illustrates Iran's emphasis on demonstrating its evolving military capabilities in a complex geopolitical environment.
