This Thursday morning, two separate crashes occurred on the Rosario-Buenos Aires highway at kilometers 149 and 150, near Baradero, leading to one person’s death and a total traffic standstill. The incidents involved four vehicles, including a bus and a truck, with the bus collision resulting in the fatality of the truck driver. Due to the accidents, traffic was severely affected with a complete blockage in both lanes of the highway. In response, authorities implemented a diversion route via route 191 to alleviate the congestion. The crashes were reported around 2:50 AM, causing significant delays for motorists. Marcos Varela, an official from the San Pedro Fire Department, reported that emergency services took approximately an hour and forty minutes to remove the victim from the wreckage, underscoring the severity of the incidents and the challenges faced by first responders during the cleanup and traffic management efforts.
