Witnesses, believing that Satish Kore was genuinely helping Tushar, watched as he orchestrated the ruse, calling for an auto-rickshaw with promises of taking Tushar to the hospital.

However, on the way to the hospital, Satish's true intentions were revealed when he stole Tushar's expensive gold chain right off his neck. The crime was committed in what should have been a moment of concern for an injured individual.
