It is noted that the interviews for UPSC 2025 concluded on February 27, 2026, marking an important milestone in the examination process.

In total, 2,736 candidates were selected to participate in the interview phase, which began on January 5, 2026, following the mains examination. The final selection of candidates will be primarily based on their performance in the written mains examination as well as the interview. This competitive examination draws in millions of aspirants each year, though only a fraction of them ultimately make it to the final list of selected candidates.
