Report: Poland is the main target of Russia's expanded sabotage operations in Europe
A report reveals that Poland is the primary target of Russian sabotage operations in Europe, with a significant portion of these incidents occurring there.
A new report indicates that Poland has become the main focus of Russian sabotage operations within Europe, with 31 out of 151 registered sabotage acts, or 21%, occurring in the country between February 2022 and February 2026. This figure surpasses that of any other nation within Europe. Since the previous report by the International Counter-Terrorism Centre in September last year, 11 additional sabotage incidents have been recorded in Poland, highlighting the ongoing threat posed to the country. One notable incident was a bombing on the railway last November, orchestrated by Ukrainian citizens under the directives of Russian intelligence agents, which aimed to provoke a train disaster.
