The boy, injured and burnt, is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital. Om, who resides in Khaparkheda in the Sawner Tehsil, had recently visited his grandmother's home in Koradi. The grandmother, Sindhu Thakre, became enraged as Om and the other children played with water and colors, leading her to pour a bucket of hot water over him in a fit of rage.
