Princess Kako of the Takamado family attended the opening ceremony of the 4th Global Youth Forum on the Culture of Compliance held at Chuo University in Bunkyo, Tokyo. During her speech, delivered in English, she welcomed ideas from young participants from about 40 countries, underscoring the forum's purpose of discussing legal issues globally. Having graduated from Waseda University in 2013 and currently working with the Japan National Committee for UNICEF, Princess Kako is not only involved at the domestic level but also engages in international advocacy, visiting countries like Timor-Leste and Switzerland. Her ongoing efforts highlight the importance of youth involvement in societal challenges and suggest that the monarchy is positioning itself as a supportive figure in addressing global issues through the lens of law and governance.
