Olive Young Establishes First Logistics Center in California, Aiming to Become a North American K-Beauty Hub

CJ Olive Young is set to open its first store in California in May and has established a logistics hub in Bloomington to support K-Beauty distribution in North America.

CJ Olive Young has announced the establishment of its first logistics center in Bloomington, California, ahead of its upcoming store opening in Pasadena in May. This new hub, which covers approximately 3,600 square meters, will serve as the logistics base for K-Beauty products distributed across North America. Olive Young aims to simplify the logistics process for brands entering the U.S. market by providing support in customs, inventory storage, and delivery, as well as logistics assistance for marketing materials and other non-product items for brands lacking their own infrastructure.

In addition to this logistics development, Olive Young has formed a partnership with the world's largest beauty retailer, Sephora, to create a 'K-Beauty Zone' in Sephora stores featuring selected products. This collaboration will offer brands access to comprehensive logistics services for their products in this zone. Olive Young is also planning to expand the logistics center’s capacity gradually and establish additional logistics hubs on the U.S. East Coast to support a multi-site logistics infrastructure across North America, ensuring they can adequately respond to increasing K-Beauty demand.

A representative from Olive Young highlighted the importance of establishing a vital logistics network to maintain stable responses to the demand for K-Beauty products ahead of the store opening. This infrastructure is expected to bolster the brand's presence in the North American market and facilitate the growth of Korean beauty products through improved logistics operations.
