In the opening match of the wheelchair curling mixed doubles competition at the 2026 Winter Paralympics held in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, the Korean pair of Lee Yong-seok and Bae Hye-jin, ranked first in the world, suffered a 5-7 defeat. The match took place in front of an energetic crowd where the duo struggled early on, falling behind 0-4 after the first three ends. However, they made a remarkable comeback by scoring four points in the fourth end to level the game at 4-4.
