Action in tribute to Women's Month promotes lectures, skin cleaning, haircut, eyebrow design, and other services in Feira de Santana
The Sintraf in Feira de Santana is organizing a free event for Women’s Month, offering various beauty and identity services, along with lectures focused on women's issues.
In celebration of Women's Month, the Rural Workers' Union of Feira de Santana (Sintraf) will host a free event on Thursday, March 5, aimed at providing women with essential services to promote self-care and empowerment. The event will be open to the public from 8 AM to 5 PM, at their headquarters located in the Barroquinha neighborhood, and is designed to celebrate and support the local women’s community in Feira de Santana, the second-largest city in Bahia, Brazil.
Attendees will have access to a variety of beauty services such as skin cleansing, haircuts, eyebrow design, and a foot spa. Moreover, in collaboration with Sine Bahia, the event will also facilitate the issuance of Identification Cards (RG). Complementing these services, the event will feature insightful lectures, including one from the Ronda Maria da Penha, focusing on education and prevention of violence against women, highlighting the importance of raising awareness about women's rights and safety.
This initiative not only provides useful services to women but also emphasizes the importance of community support and empowerment. By combining practical services and educational discussions, Sintraf positions this event as an essential opportunity for women of Feira de Santana to come together, learn, and promote solidarity while addressing crucial issues affecting their lives, especially concerning violence and health awareness in the context of women's rights.
