Increase for employees of McDonald’s, Burger King, and Starbucks: how much they earn in March 2026

Employees of fast-food chains like McDonald’s, Burger King, and Starbucks will see a 9.3% salary increase starting March 2026, following a series of progressive non-remunerative assignments.

Starting in March 2026, employees working at fast-food chains such as McDonald’s, Burger King, and Starbucks will see a significant change in their salaries due to a new collective labor agreement. This new agreement, signed by the Federation of Pastry Chefs and the sector's business chamber, includes a total salary increase of 9.3% distributed over four stages between November 2025 and February 2026. Unlike previous months, the non-remunerative amounts will be incorporated into the basic salary starting in March.

The agreed-upon increases consisted of progressive non-remunerative assignments of 3% in November, 5.58% in December, 7.69% in January, and finally 9.30% in February. All these increments will be transitioned into the basic salary of each employee category with the payroll processing for March. This significant development comes under the framework of the Collective Bargaining Agreement 329/2000, which aims to enhance the working conditions and compensation for workers in the fast-food sector.

The agreement underscores the ongoing negotiations between labor representatives and business entities, reflecting a commitment to improve wages for employees in an industry that has been heavily impacted by economic changes and inflation in Argentina. This increase is pivotal in supporting workers as they navigate the rising cost of living, making it a critical step towards ensuring fair compensation in the fast-food industry.
